Stackabones Electronic Press Kit

Stackabones is an Americana jam band with a focus on strong songwriting, multi-part vocal harmonies, a tight rhythm section and interesting improvisational explorations. Stackabones plays music from its three-decade legacy of original material and peppers its set lists with tasty covers from the archives of Americana. Lead by original member Butch Zito, Stackabones continues to bring its psychedelic hootenanny to clubs, house concerts and festival stages up and down the East Coast.

Relix Magazine says, "The mixture of very strong melodic tunes, solid rhythmic drive and intense improvisation makes a Stackabones show the amazing experience that it is."

Stackabones band leader Butch Zito was recently awarded the Established Fellowship in Folk Art-Music from the State of Delaware and the National Endowment for the Arts. This honor is in recognition of his artistic accomplishments, musical expertise and gifted songwriting skills. Stackabones is the coalescence of Butch's songwriting talent, extensive repertoire of original music and a group of highly accomplished musicians. This harmony creates Stackabones' tightly-woven innovative performances which attracts a multi-generational fan base.
